Interesting. I read a Ray Kurzweil interview somewhere the other day. Pretty fascinating ideas.

I found it kind of meh.

He didnt really mention anything that hasnt already happened of that hasnt already been written about. It seemed more of a toot my own horn thing where the company examples he uses are those that his firm invests in.

Well he's a VC, and VC's are usually involved in most internet businesses.

Unless I'm missing something, there are a few things he talked about there that arn't done. Obviously a few were (meetup, opencoarseware, et al) but from his perspective, as a VC it makes sense to draw from the ideas of his business to look forward to what is the next ones.
