Default Football (soccer) shirts at Signal Hill Winners

Rummaging through the racks this afternoon I came across a few football shirts. A few Team France, a couple of I think Danish ones, some other team I didn't recognize, couple of Chelsea (barf), and the biggest prize a medium Russia.

Thought some of the football fans might want to check them out. I only looked at the price on the France one, $50.

Oh, and a further tip. Don't believe the sizing of the board shorts or try them on in the store. I assumed the sizes were accurate and now have to make a return trip.

Bah...none worth the trip.

The French would give up before they got there and the Russians are too drunk to get there in the first place.

Trouble with Winners is that its so hit and miss, and every store has massively different selection. Every year they seem to get a nice cache of Nike, Adidas, Puma, Kappa and Lotto stuff though. If one is patient with them, there's often some really good stuff there dirt cheap. For soccer jerseys, its probably the cheapest place in Canada to buy them, and often have more up to date merchandise than many soccer specialty stores (The Soccer Store anyone...). Unless Sportchek has a clearance sale, no one can touch their prices.

Pretty sad when a new Adidas/Nike/Puma team jersey sells for $64.99 in the US, and $99.99 in Canada. Even sadder when 2-3 year old jerseys sell for $30 in the US, and $99.99 in Canada (Soccer Store...).

For cheap football shirts I usually buy online from Subside Sports: http://www.subside.us.com/us/store/index.jsp

You do have to add shipping and in some cases import duties to the prices, but you can still usually get previous years shirts for under $50. Check out the Special Offers section for the bargains.

Subside is one of the places I tend to buy from, either them or prosoccer.com.
