Wanted: Guitar lessons

It's a long shot but are there any LEFTY guitar players that would be willing to teach a beginner? I have an accoustic and used to play piano so I can still somewhat read music but can't play guitar yet!

just my humble opinion but...
if you have a righty teach you how to play the guitar, if you sit across from him, would you be basically mirroring him? might be easier actually.

Whats the difference between a right handed playing teacher and a left handed player?

You still use the same fingers, would use the same position, etc.

I'm a lefty, but I play a right-handed guitar upside-down. I really don't think it matters who teaches you. Your fingerings will be the same as long as you're on a left-handed guitar. It might actually make it easier for you long-term if you learn from a right-handed person, since that's mostly what you're going to see, so it won't look strange to you when you want to learn something from someone else.
