Default Two quick questions

First of all, is there any way I can download a youtube video and then just take the music track? We got loaded at a cabin this weekend and a hilarious song was penned. But we've only got a video of it...so how can I break it down?

Secondly, GarageBand is evil. I can't get it to make a song more than 45 minutes long. Is there any way I can get around that (besides making two separate songs)? I think that's just gonna be way too much of a pain to do again. Also, when I tried to copy and past the second half of the song into a new project no sound happened. How could I fix that?

I am pretty sure audacity ( google it ) will pull a track from a video. You might need to use video downloader to get it from you tube, and then convert it from .flv to something audacity can work with. It has been a long time since I have tried this though so you might not need to do some of these steps.

This lets you save the sounds from the video into MP3
