Default Starcraft II Midnight Launch (CP jihad opportunity)

Hey guys, I'm here to inform you of and give you the chance to help with a cool idea...

Gamestops and EB Games across the city/country/continent are doing a midnight launch for Starcraft II, and I know a lot of you here are really excited for it.

SO, being the avid and forward thinking employee I am, I made a facebook group for it and invited everyone I thought would be interested.

Here it is!

http://www.facebook.com/?sk=events#!...35876366443127

Tadah!

If that doesn't work, just search for Gamestop Starcraft Launch, it'll pop up. So anyways, if you're a big Starcraft fan and want to make me look awesome to the company (I'm an employee) then join up with the group, fire off invites to everyone you know, and let's see how enormous we can make this thing! I think it's gonna be super cool, so hopefully a lot of you join in to help me out. Thanks!

I find it funny that EB/Gamestop even cares about PC gamers anymore. The last time I checked them out, PC gaming was relegated to one side of a small stand-up wire rack in the corner. Heck at the Northlands EB, I saw PC games that were over 10 years old selling for far too much like an NHL game with Naslund on the cover.

Good luck getting people to come out, I'm sure you'll get a good turnout.

Its about time Blizzard offered same day digital download. Thats where my money is at!

Edit: Also allows you to preload the game so you just have to activate it and not fight to download it on release day

Not every Tuesday for B.Net. That is WoW that goes down for sure every Tuesday.

I have probably asked like a thousand times, but what is the most people you can play with, 4vs4?

I'd play but my laptop would explode trying to play on even lowish settings.

Once everyone gets the game we should consider putting a lil tourney together.

I think STEAM has something to do with this. Why drive all the way to EB Games to buy a physical copy when you can just download it and play it in a couple hours without even leaving your home?

Yup, as well as have a version that automatically patches itself, never gets lost when you move and you don't have to play around with discs when you want to swap out games!

I wish Blizzard would release this on steam

I have watched hours and hours of Starcraft 2 videos on Youtube. I would totally defeat everyone in terms of strategy and counters and army mix but I'm going to have to borrow somebody else to actually play the game for me since I have like 5 APM average.

4v4 is the max for the official ladder.

I'm not sure what the max is for custom maps. For example WC3 had support for up to 12 players. I don't see any reason that SC2 wouldn't have at least that amount.
