Can't open links in emails

Okay, when someone sends me an email with a URL link or a link in a newsletter or something, if I click on the link it doesn't open for me. I get an error message that says "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer." It looks like my employer is trying to keep employees from accessing websites, but I am the employer and I haven't done this, to my knowledge.

Does anyone know how I can change it so that I am able to click on these links and go to these websites???

BTW, the same thing also happens when I click on a link to an email address.

I think I got part way. I open IE and go:
Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab

I think this is where I need to be (maybe not) but don't know what to do from there.

Close. You need to restore IE to it's default settings.
<Tools><Internet Options><Advanced> then hit the reset button.

Then re-boot your computer before trying it again.

Weird part of this- I had the exact same thing happen to a user at work this week; which is how I know the fix offhand.
