... That would be the second guy to start dancing. If the second guy didn't breakdown, the dancing guy would just be dancing there by himself, looking like an idiot.

The second guy is what is making him look like a genius.

I say it was the moment females joined the party is where the dudes stopped looking stupid and started to look genius.

Hippies + Drinking + Sun = Will do anything.
That's my only logical explanation. It's appears the guy doesn't have enough friends with him to make this a planned viral video.

It's an interesting experiment of perhaps "mob mentality". Originally it's one freak...then two freaks. Fat guy joins it's funny...people's interest get peaked. A couple more people join and boom "hey, they joined the crazy dancing freaking, let's do that too".

Interesting social experiment.

I was at Margaret Falls awhile ago, and me and a buddy went into the cave below the waterfall in freezing cold water. Had been done before us, but at that moment no one was doing the same. Within minutes everybody wearing a bathing suit, or who didnt mind getting freezing cold or wet was doing the same. People see others doing stuff, and suddenly its all they want to do.

I think that it was paid for by a chewing gum company or something, IIRC.

One wonders why the Herald and Sun both wasted print space on this ######. And people say that the newspapers arent important.

Maybe because every so often, people like to read something that isn't about bombing in the middle east or gang shootings downtown. But go ahead and be annoyed that a daily newspaper attempted to add something entertaining to some people.

Section A in the Herald is for NEWS.

Let this stuff stay in the City/Entertainment section where it belongs. Not on the FRONT PAGE.

Yeah, he did an interview where he said he got a bunch of sponsorships or something. He also had a web site where he posted when and where he'd be dancing and a whole bunch of people just showed up. Very cool though.

The video is hilarious. Reminds me of the gay, drunken, Red Sox fan cutting a rug at Stan's Sports Bar across from Yankee Stadium. I almost peed my pants watching that guy.

"I really hope that people are like, ‘Oh, it’s such an inspiration and stuff’ —I hope they do get inspired and they really do feel a little bit different about themselves and their outlook on life.”

--This is the part where I just scoffed. Come on man. Ok ya, its pretty cool and funny that you were just chillin out & having a good time at a concert and now you're a Youtube sensation. But to try to act like you were trying to "inspire" people and give them a different outlook on life makes you sound like a pompous dousche. You were dancing like a dummy. It get a bunch of other people up & dancing. Someone videotaped it and slapped it on Youtube. Now you're the flavour of the week. That's all that happened. Get over yourself.
