Any place to shower downtown after running in the morning?
Hey guys, I recently started running and want to run to work in the morning, but my pathetic building doesn't have any shower facilities. Any options on a place downtown (preferably near 3-6 ave & 1st st SW) where one can get some kind of 'shower pass'. Sounds a bit naughty... but that's what I want. "I'll just need access to the showers, thank you very much..."
Do fitness/health clubs downtown let you do that without buying a full membership?
Thanks!

I believe the YWCA may have a shower-only discount, but I could be wrong. I used to go there in the mornings after I'd work overnight just for a shower, but I kept using guest passes. I don't know for sure.

If you just yell "SHOWER! SHOWER! SHOWER!" at the top of your lungs for 10 minutes - the lights will go out, strobes lights and fog will kick in and one will magically appear out of the floor.
It brings a tear to my eye everytime.

If your office tower/work doesn't have showers I think you're stuck buying a gym membership at one of the downtown gyms. I don't think that any of them have shower only passes so you'll have to get a full gym pass.

I seem to recall the fitness club at 5th ave between 6th and 7th streets having a "shower only" membership. When I worked at Bantrel one of my co-workers had that; not sure if it's something they normally offer or if they did something special for them.
Also not quite where you were looking for, so sorry if it doesn't help.

You could take a quick dip over at Olympic Plaza. Then all you need is a towel.
