Tyson's 4-year-old daughter critical after treadmill accident
Quote:
(CNN) — The 4-year-old daughter of boxing legend Mike Tyson was in “extremely critical condition” Monday night after she was injured in a treadmill accident at the family’s Phoenix, Arizona, police said.
The girl was found by her 7-year-old brother on a treadmill “with her neck on … a cable” attached to the machine, police said in a statement.
The mother “took her daughter off the cable,” and called authorities.
The girl remained on life support in critical condition on Monday, police said.

If she's on life support after asphyxiating she is not going to be ok.

Give me a clue... I have no idea what you are talking about.
Very tragic accident. It's one of those things that makes me scared to have children. They are so vulnerable.

I thought I saw him on TV at the Mets game earlier tonight.
nm: Hill said former heavyweight champion Tyson had been in Las Vegas but flew to Phoenix immediately after learning of the accident.

I have little to no respect for Tyson, but that is really terrible news for his daughter and family.
I agree with you - children are really vulnerable and it's scary. This news coupled with the news today about that gate falling on and killing that poor 3-year old girl...

Tragically, Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead at 11:45 AM this morning.
RIP Exodus
My greatest sympathies and condolences to the Tyson family.

Really Sad. There was an article in the last Rollingstone about how Tyson is trying to live a more positive life and focus on his family. What a tragedy.

I feel bad for Tyson, I'd heard that he was working very hard to turn things around.
He was a monster that was created. He was hyped, but had nobody to give him an emotional leaning post. He was used and abused by his promoters and trainers, and even his ex-wife. He was screwed over and given bad advice since he was a teen.
And he just wasn't that smart of a person.
But nobody no matter how evil deserves to go through the hell of losing a child.

I think the joke would stem from him telling a reporter he wants to eat her children. But that is just my guess!
Horrible accident and no matter what he did in his past you still have to feel for him. The only thing you can hope for in this situation is that she didn't feel too much pain.

There is a new Tyson documentary out right now. I haven't seen it, but I've heard it's quite good. Apparently the only person they interview is Tyson and he is very candid about everything in his life.

I actually find Tyson to be somewhat of a tragic character. He was pretty "slow" to begin with, and he was taken advantage of by a lot of people along the way. Plus, taking hits to the head for a living isn't going to help judgement.

Looking back using the gift of hindsight at Tyson's early fame its hard to see any other outcome possible for him.

He wasn't hit in the head all that often because he was busy destroying his opposition.
