Leafs Trade Block Updated
My MSN times don't always match up with everyone out west, so feel free to email or PM if you have any ideas...
The Leafs are looking to re-tool for next season. It's a bit of a risk making trades before the rerates are out so we probably won't make major moves involving young players whose ratings are up in the air right now. But everyone else can be moved. We're interested in any kind of deal. We have a lot of cap space and a lot of open roster spots.
A few players won't be traded- Lundqvist, Marleau, Boyle, and probably Vlasic.
Anyone else can be moved. We have a few UFA's who are available if teams are looking to get someone they really want before UFA season. They're Zubov, Redden, Jokinen, Langkow. All 4 are available. Also have some veteran guys like Conroy, Gaustad, Lebda, solid depth guys who can be moved for similar players.
