Anyone catch this show tonight? It's replaced ER's old timeslot, Thursdays at 10pm. It's also from the same folks who did ER (John Wells) so it could turn to TV gold just for that simple fact.
Anyways, I watched it and I have to say I was really impressed. Anyone else catch it tonight? Thoughts? Opinions?

I don't know, it has to be something real special to make me watch another dang police or doctor or lawyer drama. I am beyond sick of these settings in television.

I can never watch another show involving Police that tries to be "gritty" after watching The Wire.

I thought it was exceptionally well done, especially for a first episode.

It has kind of a Third Watch feel to it...not bad, but it usually takes me a few episodes to really get into a show.

I loved it, but wish the main character hadn't have shot a guy to death in the first episode.

Thought the show was great. A good mix of Third Watch and The Shield. This is a show that will offend a lot of people who live in bubbles... So I will enjoy it thoroughly!

I was a little surprised at the language used on an NBC program. They didn't bleep out the firs arsehole bomb, and there were numerous other F-bombs that were bleeped out.

I considered watching it but didn't. After seeing the good reviews here, I'd like to see it. Anyone know if the premiere episode airs again on another channel in the next couple of days.

Yes, it seems NBC is airing it again this Saturday at 7 or 10, depending if you have the timeshift channels or not.
And it seems CTV is also re-airing this Sunday multiple times.

Ryan is a tough guy from Chino, I always thought he would end up as a Cop. I just hope that he keeps in touch with Seth and Summer's sweet assets.

Did anyone else think that the crabby veteran instructor officer was in a gay bar in the end. I mean it was a sausage fest in there, and he was talking to the arrested guy from before.

Of course he's gay. They alluded to this several times in the episode. Are you just kidding? You really didn't notice this before the end sequence?

Obviously I'm not that detail oriented.

I was pretty impressed. I PVR'd it just to try it out and I liked it a lot. I'll leave it on my timer.
The Unusuals on the other hand... not so sure about it.

I'm only kidding with you buddy. I looked the show up on wikipedia and it mentioned something about the show breaking new ground by having a gay cop in it.
