A man with “homicidal tendencies” and a loaded handgun was arrested at a southwest department store early this morning.

I live close to that place, and I hate going there because of the sketchy clientele.

However, rock bottom prices gives me the strength to endure such sketchiness.

That's because there is only one checkout open (and the dumbest self checkouts on the planet).

Also, it seems to be soccer mom central for massive grocery shopping trips where they buy $500+ worth of crap and take half an hour to pay for it.

I couldn't agree more. I HATE going there, but sometimes its the only option if you don't want to drive across town.

I watched a guy unsuccessfully try to con his way past a greeter in an attempt to steal a case of 7 up once, while just outside the front door, two hookers were unsuccesfully trying to earn $10...

To be fair, the Westbrook Walmart has a fairly ethnically diverse clientelle. However, I was in the Shawnessy Walmart today and all I saw was fat white chicks in sweats.* I left quickly.

*EDIT: I am guessing these are the women who live in the RV's in the impromptu trailer park in the Walmart parking lot there.
