Judge blames Southpark for bullying Ginger kids
http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/cr...347/story.html
I laugh at this ruling. If anyone watches South Park they know it doesnt condone this sort of behavior.

Some people think I'm crazy, but I think that Southpark is an extremely clever social commentary. It may be crude (both in language and in animation) but I think that that is part of the satire.
I laugh at the judge. She needs to watch a little more southpark and get her head out of her ass.

Of course it is. They are also equal opportunity. Many young liberals think South Park is "on their side" when in fact they make just as much fun of that group as any other.
The Ginger episode was indeed a great little piece of social commentary.

I've mentioned it before, but the pinnacle of their unbiased mockery of all hypocrisy came in the Mormon episode.
After spending 9/10ths of the episode ripping Mormons for believing such strange tales, at the end, Gary tears Stan a new one by telling him:
"All I ever did was try to be your friend, Stan, but you're so high and mighty you couldn't look past my religion and just be my friend back. You've got a lot of growing up to do, buddy. Suck my balls."

Who cares about gingers, they have no souls!
Seriously though, the judge has no idea what she's talking about. South Park is an extremely smart show that just uses crude humor, if you have ever watched of before you would know it's more than just offenive jokes and bad animations.

South Park is one of my favourite mediums for discussing social commentary. I do not always agree with Matt Stone and Trey Parker's social views, but they always make excellent points in South Park.
South Park intended to show exactly the opposite of what the judge thought they were showing. Its unfortunate that people cannot see beyond the surface anymore.
...also, Imagination land was frakkin hilarious.

Cartman is quite possibly the best character in any series or movie or novel or anything, ever.

Well.... South Park is my favorite show, but I know for a fact that it has directly led to teasing of gingers. That episode was almost so brilliant that it most certainly influenced some people's behaviour.

The creators said they based the character on Archie Bunker.

That episode (and the series in general) goes out of it's way to show that the majority of people in society are 3 degrees south of ######ed. I'm going to just go right ahead and say they hit the nail on the head.

That show has warped my fragile little mind....
Having grown up on Beavis & Butthead, I was never inclined to watch a ton of music videos and eat nachos. These kids are freaking 15 years old. By the time I was 15, I'd watched a good 5 years of southpark, and the only thing I ever emulated in it was grinding up some kid's parents into chili and making him eat it. Other than that, I've known that you shouldn't emulate things only because they're on TV.

Haha...and South Park wins again. I guess it doesnt take much to be a judge.
Further, if the Judge had actually gone to the trouble of watching the episode that she vehemently denounces she would see that in no way did SP condone "Kick a Ginger Day."
