Default Single Muslim?

I would really like to know how the banners are chosen. What about this site would attract the attention of Single Muslims. BikerPlanet I can almost see but still not really.

Weird. I would have expected a lot of traffic ticket defence sites and maybe a couple Stephan or Celine sites but not that. Maybe even the odd dog or bear related banner.

Just sayin.

I'm not sure I get what you are asking about. Do you mean the OT forum? Are you talking about attracting different groups to a hockey site? Aren't the banners just to snag some advertising cash?

Given all of the threads on christians and catholics, it actually makes a lot more sense then the banner ads in foreign languages that I was seeing last week.

Hmm,
I'm currently getting the Single Christian banners.

I wonder what banner all the angry athiests are getting.

Oh, wait, now it's the chinese music source.

Damn, I don't even like pop music when I can understand what they are saying.

Obama is a secret Muslim... It explains everything!

(no really it does, those hundreds and hundreds of pages relating to Obama on this forum probably trigger a filter that relates to discussions that Muslims have worldwide and may create banners quite appropriately on Muslim discussion boards.

There we go. That does make some sense.

Now explain the BikerPlanet one?

I assume these are all keywords a la google or something similar?

I don't really know how the ads get chosen, but they can sure be strange sometimes.

All I was asking is what is triggering the particular adds we see. I would expect a lot of hockey related ads. Beer or cars or what you usually see when you watch a game. Pizza, scotiabank, telus all would make sense.

Maybe all the banner sites think members of a hockey forum are all lonely single men and that is why all the matchup sites appear?

Yeah when I think back to all the ads, only recently did I stop getting some foreign language ad, I believe spanish, but I've never seen a single ad for any sport or remotely related ad, at least that I can recall.

This brought back an unpleasant memory about an ex. A few years ago while we lived together she decided to snoop around on my laptop to check up on me, somehow she found a "christian singles" cookie or some nonsense and quizzed me on it. Have no idea how it got there, might have clicked on a banner ad my mistake.

Not only would I not browse any type of dating site while involved but it certainly would not be a christian site. All I need is a simple minded woman who doesn't put out, great combination.
