Just got home from Silver City.

Assault on Precinct 13 is a MUST SEE.

Many plot twists, some predictable and some not so much.

This was a really really good show, and I highly recomend everyone who likes movies to head out and watch this one.

Also from the previews, Hostage with Bruce Willis is not looking too bad. Another one that should be a good one is Hitch.

Here is some more info if you have no idea what I am talking about.

I saw Coach Carter tonight. Good movie. Kinda "Friday Night Lights" basketball style. Standard sports stuff but if you like sports movies and Samuel L, then you'll enjoy this one.

I dunno if Assault is gonna be on my fav list, but it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Good action, but the story was just way too silly for me. Id give it a 7 out of 10

Best movie??????? I'll admit it was entertaining in that it was a shoot-em up flick but the plot and script was written by a Gr 7. film class. Some parts of that movie were painfully telegraphed well in advance. To say nothing of the premise that these individuals could be cut off from the world and do a General Custer.

Any movie with rappers in it loses some credibility instantly. IMO, they are horrid actors. Also it seems Ethan Hawke is getting himself trapped in this kind of role.

Haven't seen it, but it looks rather predictable to me.

I think any movie with just plain old singers is horrible.

I can't believe no has mentioned that it has some of the best killing of any movie. It was worth it just to see that.

Out of principal I'm going to have a hard time seeing this movie. AOP13 is still my favourite John Carpenter film, and it had a very "Capenter-esque" feel to it - including the Carpenter composed soundtrack. It also featured one, if not the most, shocking shooting death within the movie - which I can guarantee is almost not in this new film (but I could be wrong).
