Default High School Pitcher Throws 4th straight No Hitter

I don't care if this is high school or not, 4 straight no hitters is unbelievable.

Quote:
The lanky left-hander struck out 17 to help his team beat rival Pasco High 5-0 in front of a full house of several hundred spectators.

“I never thought this would happen,” he said. “I’m just having so much right now.”
Schuster’s streak began April 3. He’s piled up 60 strikeouts in the four games, helping Mitchell to a 19-3 record. He’s 7-0 on the season.

Still being able to do that at age--21 at a high school level is nasty.

I suppose. But I can't help but think of Danny Almonte.

That always has to be in the back of your mind, but Almonte was born in the D.R. A kid that was born and raised in the U.S. is going to have a harder time faking their age, what with Social Security/Tax records, etc.

Nonetheless, 4 straight no hitters is ridiculous.

To put this into some kind of perspective, Chris Reitsma threw like 3 in his entire career in Calgary has a high schooler in the babe ruth league

Meh, If they sent me out to pitch for that team, I'd throw 4 straight no-hitters too.

The problem with mine is that they would also be no-outers.

I wonder how many innings he has pitched per game. The article states he has 60 strikeouts in the four games so 15 per game or 5 innings worth of strike outs per game (theoretical if they were spaced out evenly, who know which games they came in). That's impressive assuming the talent level of the other schools isn't significantly lower then his school.
