Default Coach among injured in Cowboys’ roof collapse

Wicked stuff...

Quote:
Cowboys special teams coach Joe DeCamillis was among 12 people injured when winds just shy of tornado strength ripped through the roof of the team’s indoor practice facility during a rookie minicamp Saturday.

I'm sorry, but that's an idiotic place to be on an early May afternoon in North Texas with the weather patterns we've been seeing over the last week.

Unbelievably stupid.

Maybe God wanted to rip the roof open so he could see 'his' team practice?

Well one of the coaches suffered a severed spine and is paralyzed from the waste down.

Apparently the company that built the building also built a structure in Philadelphia that collapsed and was found negligent in that case. It'll be interesting to see if this was something that faulty design/construction contributed to.

My prayers go out to Rich Behm and his family. Everytime I hear about somebody getting paralyzed, it just makes me all the more thankful for what I have. It has to be my biggest fear, and I would almost choose death over it. Hopefully someday they will have the technology to make these people walk again.
