Default Holy crap it's hot out...

Wednesday moring we had snow on the ground, a dusting only granted, but nonetheless it was white in most spots.

yesterday it hit 29C...today its 30.

Im not complaining at all...but its really hard for the body to adjust like that. I was out in the garden for about 20 minutes and simply couldnt deal with it anymore.

Summer is here....hopefully.

Yeah well, the new swine flu pandemic will have a harder time spreading in desolate Calgary. So there.

Down here it was 100 last Saturday, still in the 90's on Thursday, then dropped to 68 for Friday and Saturday. These weather patterns are wacky and everyone is blaming the temperature changes for all the colds we seem to be catching.

Ah I'm just down the hill in Capitol Hill...it was probably more of a mix of snow/rain.

It was something like 29C last weekend at soccer, and I was dehydrating at the half (dizzyness, dry heaving, etc)

Pretty common to have thunderstorms in suddenly warm temperatures (not sure if you know)

Calm now but boy was it gusting a while back. I was sure it was going to snap the birch in front of the house.

The crowds rolling in over the city looked a bit sinister. Got dark real fast.

I really hope there are thunderstorms....love them.
