Hey guys I have two days in Switzerland between when I am in Paris and when I have to catch my plane in Frankfurt, so I was wondering if anyone has any advice on where I should go/ see in Switzerland.
Thanks

What month? Are you coming by train?

I'd probably say Lucerne, Bern, or something on Lake Geneva that isn't Geneva (Lausanne or Montreux).

I hear Interlaken is a wicked place for extreme sports. Don't know if that's what you're into, but if so, that's where to go.

You can do that a little cheaper over in Slovenia, right next door - rafting, climbing, paragliding...

Lucerne is cool. Should be enough to keep you interested for the time you are there.

Geneva sucks. Worst big city to visit in all of Switzerland.

If that is the route your train is coming in on, I'd blow through Geneva and hit Lausanne or Montreux instead for sure. Montreux has the Chateau de Chillon which is a really cool site.

You can also take a day trip to Geneva on the train, but trust me you won't spend long there.

Chateau de Chillon:

The above locations suggested for Switzerland OR just keep going and go to Salzburg Austria. Very pretty town, but Austria is less expensive (admittedly I was there "a century ago"). It was funny we had come from Switzerland and others had come from Czech. We were saying how inexpensive Austria was and they were saying the opposite. We didn't want to tell them about Switzerland.

Since you're leaving from Frankfurt another idea is either hit the Rhine valley or there are also some towns around Frankfurt you could go to like Mainz, Heidelberg, and Rothenberg. I also read about towns like Trier and others around there which looked really interesting.

It doesn't matter how much you bring, you will still not have enough.

I wanted to take a picture of the price menu at a McDonalds, but they yelled at me and kicked me out. Either way, $16 for a Bic Mac Meal, I don't think so. I will rather have my $12 Doner. (Most places in Europe they are between $4-5).

+1 - underground mall is fantastic.

If you see one, take a picture of the German Shephard that looks like a horse accompanied by the police. Hostel in Lucerne is very nice, and convieniently located.

I love Slovenia, good food, outdoor sports (see: above), hot girls that buy me drinks... not a single place in the world would that ever happen
