Default The EA Servers hate me

Been trying for the last 4 days to get some online NHL 09 action in, but the EA Servers haven't allowed me to get more then a couple minutes of game time in. Any ideas how to resolve this? I've rebooted the modem and router, but that hasn't seemed to help.

Perhaps your ports are preventing you from having a good sync. Have you try port forwarding UDP 3659 to 6000?

Well if you have a router hooked up between your ps3 and the internet, what needs to happen is

1. Log into router
2. Find port forwarding menu
3. assign the ports in the NHL09 manual to be forwarded to the IP address of your ps3.
4. Rock and roll.

So which port numbers do you put in the router site? Should you put it all in one blank?

I just have it set up so that the ports requested are forwarded to my PS3.
TCP ports forwarded 1st, and the udp ports 2nd.

If all else fails, uninstall all files, most importantly the game data utility, and download everything again.
