Deerfoot closure this AM at Barlow

Anyone know what happened? A couple of the guys at work who go in earlier than me texted me to say that Deerfoot was closed and detoured onto Barlow. When I came through at 8:00am it was open but there was a large red stain under the Douglasglen overpass. Hopefully a deer......

My roommate got caught in this and thankfully gave me the heads up. He said there was an accident and police had closed off parts of deerfoot.
