Edmonton v Calgary trip. Have some spots available
Hey guys,
I'm the organizer of this trip and we don't have a full 15 passenger van yet. Wondering if anyone is interested. Here is the private info from my facebook page. If you are interested please PM .....
What's better then seeing the Flames win .... being with friends out of town, annoying the hell out of the other teams fans, getting kicked out of the arena, staying in a cheap hotel that is falling appart, having 8 guys crammed into a vehicle and trying to guess who had what for dinner with the smell in the car!!! That's right .... we're doing it again.
Who: Priority #1, 1st annual patrons, then whoever.
Where: Edmonton - Calgary
When: April 10-12
What: Driving up to Edmonton to see the Flames play (Friday) stay there a night (go pubing or clubing). Next day drive back and watch the two teams faceoff again. Go to cowboys and drink more if you can. Tickets included to both games and some drinks (in YEG 300 section tickets in YYC Sport check tickets).
Why: Cause its tradition!
How: By coughing up some money and me doing all the work.
Cost: I’m guessing $220-$240 … depending on how many people come.
Phase 1: Getting head count ... are we going in a Durango or 15 passenger van?

Haha. Reminds me of the time I roadied up to Dirty Stinking Mulletville with a bunch of buddies to watch the Stamps destroy the Eskimos in the WCF. On the way out, my buddy was singing that song "I'd rather be a fa**ot that a fu**ing Eskimo" at the top of his lungs, while swinging a giant Stamps flag.
Next thing I know we're surrounded by ~30 Esks fans and trouble was a-brewin. Lucky for us, there was a cop right there keeping idiots from walking into the LRT tracks. He made the po'd Esks fans wait for a few minutes to give us enough time to get down the street to our van.

If the wife would let me go I would. Not sure how well it would go over with the wife saying I am going to go get rude drunk and obnoxious with a whole bunch of guys at a hockey game then a bar while I leave you at home with a 9 week old.

Any chance we could get in just for the Edmonton leg? We already have tickets in Calgary.
Great idea by the way.
