Question New Liquor Law?
I'm booking a birthday party at a bar I like to go to, and in the past they've had really good drink specials.

I asked them if we could possibly have a special for my group that night and the response was that with new liquor laws they can't do specials. I'm pretty sure that's true, as another place told me a while ago that there are laws that state you can't have highballs below a certain price.

I don't want to throw the place under the bus because it is a super fun place to go to, but just wondering what the collective CP brain knows about this?

Ask for other stuff. Food/apps etc.

I don't see any minimum price for either hookers or blow. Perhaps have them through some of that in? Would make it worth full price watered down booze.

So... they would not lower the price but they can give it away free? Every fifth drink FREE? Seems to defeat the purpose. Which is the purpose I guess.
