don't know the guy too well, just from posting, but by the tone of the initial post i think he was leaning towards the job.

hope he makes the right decision.

Yes I took the job today after a few days of juggling things. I decided to take it after having a panel discussion with a few of the people I would be working with to see if it was what I wanted to do.

and it was me in the heart problem thread, after a really stressful period I threw an irregular heart beat that put me into the hospital for a few days.

I leave for toronto on the 6th

Thanks to everybody for thier advice

It was you. That creeped me out. You better tell people to F- off if needed. We don't need any obit sections on here.. [/b][/quote]
We'd probably be none the wiser.
I've always wondered how we'd find out of someone on here kicked the bucket.

I was thinking that the other day, on one of the other boards I post on there's a really bad, really annoying, and just plain stupid poster who is aging and isn't the smallest guy in the world. He got banned from one of the boards (Bathurst Titan, his "home" board) and stopped posting on all the other junior boards altogether. After a day or two, I got a message from a friend of mine that runs the Titan board "chsb (the poster's nic) is missing" That was my first thought. (turns out he's ok, and just didn't post for a while, which is uncharacteristic of him).

On smaller boards in smaller towns it'd be known. On a board like this.... with how many thousand people registered? As well as someone passing away not knowing their real name, if it's really them, etc.

For example I wouldn't be reported in any Calgary newspapers, and how many posters from NS are there, that would see my real name and put two and two together ... a few times, realize Jon is short for Jonathan, THEN think of my nic here MQS, and THEN put those together? It's a long shot.

But, what would probably happen is like when a wrestler takes time off or is fired in the WWE. One day you see something that reminds you of them (often times a card, or an article on the net or something) and you think "what ever happened to them?"

Thanks for your support guys

Now I have to find a way to cram a lifetime of relaxation into a week.

I start on the first and then fly out to Toronto on the 6th for training on thier management style, financial systems, and marketing models.

I'm really excited about this, and researching them, and talking to thier people I came away with a really good feeling, and a sense that they really take care of thier people especially from a monetary and benefits standpoint.

So any of you Calgary puckers in TO, there's a storm coming to the big smoke

God I love that smiley
