Just got back from it. Jason Segal is hilarious. One of the funnier movies I've seen in a while.

I am seeing this one tonight. I am too excited. Paul Rudd and Jason Segel, that's win right there!
Someone told me Andy Samberg is in it too, is that true?

saw it last night, and yes Andy Samberg is Paul Rudd's gay brother. The movie was hilarious, its been a long time since I laughed that much at the theatre.

It was fairly funny. Maybe I was just tired though.

Just got back from it.....pretty funny. Not raunchy like I was expecting, but still funny on its own merits.

Saw this last night, too. I was excited for this after seeing the trailer a few weeks ago, even though I never have very high expectations with comedies. But I thought this was absolutely hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. IMO waaay better than Superbad or Forgetting Sarah Marshall, or some of those other ones. Just so many things done right in I Love You, Man.

Yeah, super good movie. I think SuperBad was better, as was Old School, but it is for sure along those lines.

A lot of people seemed to rip this one a little bit, but personally I found it to be one of the funnier movies I've ever seen. Anything these guys seem to touch turns to gold in my opinion so I'm all over it.

And you dumped her on the spot right?
Haven't seen this movie yet, but as far as the other ones referenced here I didn't think Superbad was that great. It was ok, but I was glad I just rented it. Forgetting Sarah Marshall though I thought was one of the funniest relationship movies I had seen in a while, and while it had obvious over the top humour, it also had some really good points and sweet moments. Perhaps it just hit me at the right time, as I was going through a break up myself, but it's up there with my favorite comedies of all time. (I generally split my favorite films up between comedies and drama, because you can't really compare a great drama to a comedy, but I would say that FSM is up on my list of favorite movies)

By all means, I do agree, I really enjoyed Forgetting Sarah Marshall too (especially Segal and Rudd in it), just this one I enjoyed more.

Agreed, trailers look horrible. Maybe this is one of those rare comdies that doesn't give away all the good parts in the trailer and actually is funny, instead of the usual formula of funny trailer, lackluster movie.

Agreed that Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my favorite comedy. Underrated film, for sure. A lot of people I talk to haven't even heard of it.
Can't wait to see "I love you, Man"

I saw this one and didn't really like it. There were parts where I laughed, but overall, I was let down.

Hilarious. Kind of a slow start until Segel enters but after that it's as funny as Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Not to say Paul Rudd wasn't funny, he was but Segel and Rudd just play off each other so well.
Slap some bass!
