it was acting up for me as well... I think it's still going through problems as I only have 43/150 people online at the moment. The vast majority (20/43) are in the Halifax region. I wonder if that's a problem, as I usually have about that online from Sydney as well at any given time?

150 people? Christ man.
I have 15 maybe and most of them I haven't heard from in months. How do you keep track of everyone?

the list maxes out at 150 otherwise I'd say there'd be more.

I have them divided into categories based on how I know them/would need them etc

UCCB my undergrad university, and people I know who currently go there

Cape Breton people back home that don't go to UCCB

Dalhousie/Kings people that go to Dal, or Kings College

East Coast University people that go to universities on the East Coast, with the exeption of ones already listed

HRM people who I know in the Halifax area that don't go to university

International people that don't live in Canada

Junior Hockey people I know from junior hockey boards

MPA people in my program

Ontario people that live in Ontario

Out West people that live out west (most people I have on my list that are on this board are in this category

I like to keep my networks open, I won't deleted you unless I add someone new, need to make room, and I haven't talked to you for a while.

If there's a specific reason I need you as well (ie: MPA, or most of East Coast University are fellow debaters) you'll stay

The easiest way to avoid problems with MSN is to use ICQ...

I have a 'friends & fam' with 8 people and 'other contacts' with 10.

It was auto signing me in and out this morning. Problems with the server. I noticed some of my friends on the east were signed in once when it signed me back in, supporting what Jon said about it being a regional thing maybe.

MSN has been acting up really bad for the last few days. Me thinks they are having a problem with their network.

ICQ used to be the only thing I ever used and then all the people I talked to on a regular basis left and all I got was messages from people who werent even on my list telling me to visit their porn site so I quit using it.

yeah I used to be a HUGE ICQ mark, now that everyone has MSN it's the standard/norm so it's what you use. I still like the feature of messaging someone who isn't online, e-mail just isn't the same.

I have 36 Contacts... 5 of which are my family, the rest of the people are blocked, I'll unblock them if I need to speak to them or call them, other then my family everyone else stays blocked..

I don't really like being msn'd.
