Starting another Ball Hockey League - Calgarypuck Forums - The Unofficial Calgary Flames Fan Community

Hey,

I just wanted to see if there is anyone interested in joining a new ball hockey league. The league would start in about a month from now, and we will be playing at National Sports Development (www.nsd365.com). It would be once a week, we are still working on the time slot with NSD, and will know soon which day we will be playing on. The website is almost done, and i'll post it here as soon as i get the message board set up. The cost would be around $70 for the season. We have a lot of people who want to join already, but we would like to get more people so we can have 8 teams, with at least 8 people per team. Games will be 4v4, so 8 people is barely enough (3 subs). We would prefer to have only people 18+ play, but we are willing to take guys 16+ as well, but we'll need to have a parental consent note for those people.

Again, everything will be on the site, so once it is done, ill post the url here.

Is this league run by the same people as Doggy Dogg (Ravi?)

No, i know ravi, but its not related to that league. Some of the players from Ravi's league (FHL) will be joining this one though.

So these games will NOT be on wednesdays right? Since the FHL has those nights booked

no, not wednesday. Possibly saturday, if we can get a good slot. We are trying to get 5-8.

If it's Saturday I'm in! Had to drop out of Ravi's league because of summer school *ugh*

I would vote to have the games on a Monday or Tuesday. I think that would work best with the majority (myself included. lol). I don't think you can get a lot of people to commit every saturday during the summer [/b][/quote]

I'm in Ravi's league and I'd definitely be interested.

Tuesdays, Thursdays or on the weekend would be best for me.

hey, we have about 40 people that we know, but we are looking for more.

I have the website set up, and the forum is up, so im opening the league to other people now.

Just go to the forum, register, and post the requested info in the sign up section.

i know i know, the url is kinda ghetto, but we have signed up for a .com address, and that will be set up soon, and we will also be transferring to a different server soon.
