Crap that is getting old quick...
- Fata
- typing stuff in green
- hookers and blow
- stuff about asian restaurants
Regurgitating the same lame inside joke stuff over ad nauseum is starting to get old. All this crap is ending up in the hockey forum and it's getting old. And yes, I realize that this will spur some of you cretins on to do it more.
As you were.

A few things that are inevitable on any/every online forum. Everything that happens on the board, there is SOMEONE who will hate it and complain about it.

I, for one, welcome our green Asian blow snorting fata hooker overlords.

Hey guys have you seen these great FFFFFUUUUUUU comics going around the Internet?
Here they are: http://ragethread.blogspot.com/2009/...ut-fffuuu.html
The only thing that could make those any funnier- if they involved hookers n' blow!
And man, after laughing at those comics so hard, I feel like going and getting a bowl of pho but I don't want to get caught in crossfire!

Had an idea!

The green text is ridiculous. Takes away the point of being sarcastic in the first place. People are WAY too serious if they have a problem with a politically incorrect post that doesn't have green text.

These things.
Even worse are the chintzy looking home-made ones that are even less funny.

On a serious note, I think the inside jokes give CP a little personality. Therefore, I don't mind them.

I refuse to use green text. Not only is it painful to have someone point out their sarcasm, but it was supposed to be orange!

When sarcasm is obviously blunt it isn't needed. But the green text rule of thumb is good if it may be hard to tell.

We need some kick back old school jokes that really give CP some history.
Red_Berenson vs Gordo, salt anyone?????? ...
The only one I like and hasn't been overused is the FFfffkkkk and that .gif of BORK BORK BORK... sarcasm in green, hookers and blow, the scoreface stuff have to go.

The problem is that some users assume that if it isn't in green, it isn't sarcasm and even the most obvious sarcasm goes over their head.

i'm tired of the lack of diversity around here....
Ed Harken: A lot of you have been hearing the affiliates complaining about a lack of diversity on the news team.
Champ Kind: What in the hell's diversity?
Ron Burgundy: Well, I could be wrong, but I believe diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.
Ed Harken: Ron, I would be surprised if the affiliates were concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship, but nice try.
food for thought
