Yes.
And it is quite likely he would have eventually landed better roles more conducive to his humour if he didn't type-cast himself as "Danny Tanner".

Gotta pay the bills somehow. Something tells me Full House and AFHV were good for his wallet. And now he can do what he enjoys the most: standup. Nothing wrong with that.

Actually, I read an interview with him a few years ago and he regrets doing AFHV and pretty much says he feels it ruined him in television. He didn't mention Full House though that I can remember.
