Hawks acquire franchise player

Paul Bissonnette

Well we gave away a lot of players including one having a great season. Gardiner is a first round pick but two or three years away and Sauvé is a second rounder on a deep Boston squad. Dupuis hasn't done what we thought he'd do playing with Crosby while Bissonnette has been up and down this year.

We acquire a top line center that we've coveted for a while.

Nice deal all around... some nice pieces going to Philly but I'm a big fan of Vinny, so I think Chicago gets the edge here, though not by much. Gardiner is a great piece to add and Cammalleri obviously is snipe.

Good luck with Vincent, there's a reason he's on his 6th team this year, he just doesn't put up points as an 84 OV player getting 10 million next season

Given the price of Vinny lately I would give the edge to the Flyers. However, this is the price that Vinny should cost, he is a franchise guy, one of the most stable players you could ask for in the NHL, with Dans sim chem this move could pay huge dividends in the long term.

So in conclusion, based on what I think Vinnys value is, I say even deal.

For Flyers, lets begin with Dupuis and Bisssumthingwhoicantspell were in there for cap purposes.

Now to the actual players. We all now know bout Cammi; first liner, good contract, will still be a RFA when his contract is up(pending league changes), A FLAME!

Gardiner is very under-rated prospect you don't hear about, really good offensive defenseman coming through College ranks, switched from forward to D.

Sauve, ask Ravi what I think of him and Boston 2nd rounders in general.

Overall, I think I still have my top liner but save about 5 mill next year.

Dupuis will be monitored for a bit, than will likely be shipped out.
