The Blues made a few more moves today to try and make a play off run. The first move was fairly minor with St Louis sending depth Dman Doug Murray to the Ducks for a 3rd. We basically had 8 NHL d and wanted to thin the herd and get something for it.
The next deal was a tad bigger. The Blues send Brian Willsie along with 2rds and a 4th to the Stars for enigmatic winger Maxim Afinogenov. Max gives us a pure scorer to work with Gomez on the 1st line. The deal maker here was Max has a 2w contract and if he continues to suck so badly in the NHL...he can be cast off to the minors or bought out.
