Favorite/Least Favorite Brands of Alcohol
I thought it would be fun to find out what the poison amongst the crowd would be, here's my favorites/least favorites:
Beer:
Favorite- Kokanee
Blah- Pilsner
Rye:
Favorite- Gibson 18 Year
Blah- Meagers
Vodka:
Favorite- Grey Goose
Blah- Alberta Ice
Add any other type of booze you like, I mainly drink these three bevys.

Safeway although Equate from Wal-Mart is good too.

Yay - Budweiser Budvar aka Czechvar (not associated with America or Anheuser Busch in any way!
Nay - American Budweiser, Miller
Vodka:
Yay - Wyborowa exquisite(gotta support what my family's country's good at!)
Nay - Iunno...but the rest are definitely below my fave
Whiskey:
Yay - Gibson 18 year seconded
Nay - Jack Daniels. PUKE!
Rum:
Yay - Havana Club white
Nay - Lambs...I don't find it very good.

Beer:
Yay: Alexander Keiths if I feel fancy, Pilsner or Canadian if I'm feeling cheap
Nay: Budweiser (it tastes like bananas to me), Kokanee (too inconsistant), Lucky, all that crappy stuff. Basically I won't drink anything cheaper than Pil
Whiskey:
Yay: Crown Royal Special Reserve. Love that stuff, but it's rather cost prohibitive for me, so generally it's either regular Crown, Tangle Ridge (delicious stuff) or Wisers Small Batch. Gibson's is acceptable though.
Nay: I'll second the Jack Daniels.
Vodka:
Yay: It's gotta be the Grey Goose
Nay: Pretty much everything else. Not a vodka man really. The worst one in the world though has got to be Polar Ice. It's horrendous.
Rum:
I'm not a rum fan at all really, but if I've gotta drink it, I'll roll with Bacardi, or Appleton's.

It's funny that you mention Laško. Myself and my buddy bought a huge pop bottle of this stuff to bring back to our room in Dubrovnik and the entire thing was flat as a 8 year old girl. We both decided at that point that it wasn't as good as Ožujsko or Karlovačko. Maybe I should give it another shot now though. . . I finally found some of these beers here in Calgary.

Yay: Keiths is my staple, but some of my faves are also Leffe, Gosser...well, just way too many list.
Nay: Also way too many to list, but cheap crap like Canadian, Bud, Coors, etc.
Rye/Whiskey/Bourbon:
Yay: Royal Reserve (R&R), Crown Royal, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam
Nay: Wild Turkey
Scotch:
Yay: Single malts, Oban, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Tullibardine, Chivas Regal 15/18yr Mixed blend
Nay: Johnny Walker Red Label.

Baileys on the rocks
Kokanee
Heineken
Lime Margharita
Vex Kiwi and Mango Lemonade
Smirnoff Ice Ultra
Tequila and grapefruit juice
Coffee with Ameretto
Right about now I wouldn't be picky  but I guess I will have to wait...
