If I were to get one, what would be better GHWT or RB2?

I'm guessing the PS3 versions would be superior to the Wii versions?

I have a wii and a PS2 that is slowly dying...

My 52" TV is about 10 years old so graphics were not an issue.

I got it for the Wii.....

Pretty cool so far. My 8 year old is singing and my 5 year old is on drums.....

Good times.

Regular $115 at Futureshop. You saved a bit but that's not half price. Typo?

He got the complete kit with drums and mic as I understand it. The FS price is for the game and guitar only.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Rock Band is better IMO. It is more user friendly first of all, and the pitch mechanism for singing is far superior. You follow lines with an arrow that shows your pitch as either too high or too low, with GH its a bouncing ball of doom that looks like it came out of atari.

Rock Band is a bit easier to in the lower levels which is good for newer players, also a lot easier to keep your band alive I find on tougher songs.

I went to buy it for PS2 and they wanted 100 bucks + tax, so I went on kijiji and found it for 60, no tax

I just picked up the PS3 Rock Band 1 full kit for $70 +tax.

I'll get the Rock Band 2 game next week when I'm out in Alberta so I can save the 8% PST.

which set of instruments is better? I am pretty sure they both work for both games right.

I personally prefer RB series but my original RB stuff is getting pretty ragged so I may need to replace them.

At this point of the sale, just take what you can find. The HMV I was at had one RB1 kit for PS2, a bunch of various GH with guitar bundles and that's it. I suspect everywhere was hit by RFD hoarders.
