Dlink 655 router

Does anyone use this router? I have a macbook and have been reading online that its has some trouble with macs but am wondering if any of the cp local networking experts have any views on the router. It is going to be used for 1 slingbox 2 pc's and 1 macbook and 1 acer laptop. Laptops will be done through wireless. Anyone have any experience on this product? I am able to get it at a pretty good deal of 60 bucks.

My personal experience is to stay far away from d-link. I dont know the facts about it working well with macbooks but I own the new macbook and use a linksys. The exact model that I have it THIS and I havnt had any problem with it.

I have a standard older linksys router but now that I am moving from my condo to a house I was thinking of making an upgrade to get some faster speeds and make sure I get a good signal anywhere in the house

are you with shaw ah123? looking for reviews online everything is from 2007 when it first came out. Did you have any problems hooking it up to everything?

I am with Shaw. The 655 replaced my "old" DI 624 and I find it much better (the range is better and I don't have dropped connections on my macbook). Basically, just took out the old router, hooked up the new router, setup the security and everything has been working great. I had one minor hiccup, but that was a "problem between chair&keyboard", not the router
