I remember seeing that square building getting built. It was considered a marvel of architecture. I dont imagine the fire escape plan on that is any good.

I'm in Beijing right now and we didn't see that building last night... but then again it's hard to see more than 500 metres in the distance.
Last night was the last night of the lantern festival and the last night people were allowed to use fireworks. It was insane.. non stop fireworks from when we landed (4pm until midnight).
