Indoor Soccer Goalie Needed!!

Hey guys,

I play in a rec league for indoor soccer and am in need of a goalie for a Monday night game at 10pm in the SW. We play in a gym and not the Soccer Center.

Well that's the plan, but no one has ever really played in net.

So just looking for alternatives elsewhere, if they are available.

So am I correct to assume there's no turf then, it's simply a regular gym floor? Also, which gym would this be at? I don't play on a team, and I'm not that great, but if you wouldn't mind any ol' body in the hole, then I might be interested.

I'm going to the hockey game tonight, or I'd volunteer my services, even though I'm not much of a goalie. CSSC is not a bad league, I play in the Sunday Rec Plus at HCA.

The good news about playing goal in a CSSC league is no one can be in the crease but the goalie, and the nets are about 2/3s the size of a normal indoor net which means what would be a top corner goal normally is a miss in this league.

The only real drawback is aside from Sunday nights, its typically 4 on 4, rather than 5 on 5. But you get used to missing one player.
