I'm amazed by the calmness and professionalism of everyone in that audio clip. I'm also hugely impressed that in one second the approach controller is dealing with the emergency, talking with the stricken aircraft and the towers at La Guardia and Teteboro, then the next he's giving routine instructions to other aircraft in his airspace. Incredible multitasking.
Funny that both the pilot and the approach controller got the name of the flight wrong several times. During the clip, Flight 1549 was erroneously called both 1529 and 1539. Not a terrible blunder to make under the circumstances, though.
