Default Possible Stupid Question

Ok so my bathtub faucet had a pretty large leak. So we called a plumber, fixed it. But they left a hole around the faucet in the tile(apparently they do not fix this). So who/what kind of company would I call to tile the area around bathtub???

Call your local tile store, they probably know of a tile guy who can handle a small job like that.

Is the hole around the faucet itself? Is it too big to be filled with caulking?

Strange situation. Was the leak the faucet itself or the pipes behind? If it was the pipe why didn't they take the drywall out behind the pipes and work from there as opposed to the tiles?

A professional DIYer would do it for cash.

How big is the hole?

The hole is about 1.5x2ft, around the faucet

The leak itself was coming from the faucet

So, the leak was coming from the faucet, but the plumber made a hole 1.5 feet by 2 feet to fix the faucet? That doesn't sound right to me... Was it a custom facuet or a generic faucet?

Makes no sense whatsoever.

Simple case of turning the water off, taking the faucet apart and replacing the cartridge (which would be free) in the faucet.

Ok i should have told u the whole story...AT first the faucet was just leaking. We got someone to take a look at it, and take it apart(not someone who does it for a living). So then after when we turned the water back on, the pipes started to leak and started to leak to the downstairs unit(condo). So yea we cheaped out and now it kind of cost us in the end
