I don't know if it's AGAINST holy book worship. I think it's more about being yourself, finding your own values, and having an open mind to others values.
The book may still have a place in helping you build yours, and the vid does seem to be saying don't let it define you, but I think it can be argued that their different books still influenced them.
I like what the letters spelled in the 'completed bookshelf', lol.
