Very impressive for the Hitmen and their fans. I would have figured Philly or Chicago would be pulling in good crowds for their AHL team.

True, and that is precicely why the Chicago Wolves tend to do well. The Wolves went head to head with the Blackhawks once last year and outdrew them.

Three Division I college hockey teams are outdrawing the Hitmen, I wonder why they didn't mention college teams at all?

1: Marketing!!! Why would a team make them self’s look 4th over all, when they can look number one?

2: (.00001%) of people care about college sports in Canada.

Last 2 Hitmen games have had crowds over 10,000. These should help raise the average a little more!

They are.

They are well above the league average.
