Interesting idea! I don't think the forum software has anything like that built into it, but you can use these links to find new posts.. there should be some software out there that would inform you of changes to the pages.

Thanks for the search links. Now all you need is a way to run the second search automatically periodically and output the result as an xml/rss feed disregarding duplicates.

Just don't have it update every 30 seconds.

Yah, don't want to burn the place down again.
Surely, there must be a way to harness the power of google and let them handle all the heavy lifting...

Not sure, maybe. Better would be to have an actual RSS feed on the server and have that be generated as a static file every so often. But that would require coding on the server side. Interesting idea though, might be worth going to vbulletin.com and suggesting it to them.
An extra hit every so often isn't that big a deal.

Also would like to track jiri, because chances are that he is banning someone, so I don't want to miss a confrontation.

I didn't want to name names of those that I planned to stalk but, yeah, you kind of hit the nail right on the head.
I still haven't found a solution to this problem any better than what photon posted above. It would be nice if it was a lot more automagic...

This is somewhat related, but can we still ignore users? I feel like there are one or two idiots who need to get on my ignore list.
