Default Doc Memorial Emblem, Logo or Icon?

I don't know if this is overly dramatic, but is there a chance we can get some kind of emblem/logo/icon (something) built into the CP theme for the remainder of the season?

Yeah I was kind of thinking that too, but not sure what would look good. Any ideas?

A simple black circle with his initials with a flaming C below them would be good imo.

Sort of like what the NFL players are wearing for Gene Upshaw with the added Flames touch.

ctner could come up with something better as he has the original files, but how about something like this using the CP logo?

These are what I came up with:

or

Personally I like the banner, mainly because the writing was too small for the dates in the black circle one, and a bigger black circle seemed over bearing.

Comments & Criticisms?

I like the second one, a bit more subdued. I think the lettering visibility is sufficient, the important part is the DOC.

I agree. The second one would be my choice.

I kind of like the banner one. The second one with white on black can be difficult to read (depending upon your resolution) and I initially thought it said DOG. The final letter looks...squished, or something on my screen.

Do we know if the Flames are planning any kind of jersey patch, or helmet sticker?

If they are, maybe they will be kind enough to let us use that image on CP?

I think that would be the most appropriate to use...why should CP's be any different then the ones the Flames themselves use?

I guess we can see what they have on their jerseys tonight, I'll wait to change it.

I'll look at what they have too, and if it's something we need higher quality on I will try to replicate it. If anyone has other ideas please post them and I'll try to put something else together.

I like the one we were going to go with, we'll see what the jersey looks like, I suspect it'll be something very similar so it'll probably be just matching a font or something.

So is it going to be the white circle with DOC in it?
