Default Tuscany Water Main Break

If anyone lives at the intersection of Tuscany Way NW and Tuscany Meadows Drive NW, specifically SW/SE of the intersection I'd suggest going home. IT's going to flood a ton of basements. The water was at least 10 inches deep flowing down the street.

reminds me of the McKnight Blvd water main break a few years back. You know something is wrong when it's -30 out, and the Fire dept has to bring in its water rescue boats to rescue stranded drivers.

McKnight Blvd was closed for two weeks, or something like that. 32nd Ave was a traffic nightmare.

Will it actually flood basements if the ground is frozen?

Nothing on citybeat yet.

Yup, I was pulling up when it was probably 30 seconds old to pick up some people. When I drove back through 5 - 8 minutes later I wondered if I was going to get through in the Nissan Pathfinder. I wondered enough that I did the "create a bow wave and go constant speed" method to drive through deep water. It was DEEP! Probably above the nurf bars.

Oh yeah, it was pouring down the streets, and into a little park area beside houses, if any water got near a basement window it would fill up fast and end up in your basement.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
