Favorite Commercials?
Right now, one of my favorites is that nicoderm commercial...
Its the one with the flight-attendant freaking out about everything..
I just works on so many levels, and you know every single flight attendant wants to freak like that..
Anyway,
What are some of your favorite commercials?

I love the NicoDerm one and the Fed Ex one, thought the first Fex Ex box one was better then the second. Can understand that problem with my new business.
Watched the Nextel one, that was really funny too. That one made sense to me as well because my last job, we worked with GPS tracking and radio voice products, all sorts of fun electronic communication gizmos. Really interesting all the stuff out there that can be implemtented at a low cost, as long as you can wrap your employess (and managers) heads around them. for people who like paper and need reports, (even e-mail) it can be hard to really take advantage of some of those things.
Swtiching gears from funny to just kinda heartwarming, I like that Timmy's commercial with the Asian grandfather. Very sweet and heartwarming, and you almost never get that from a commercial. I'm the first to rail against cheese factor, but for some reason, I really like that one.

I have to respectfully disagree with the Timmy's commercial. Maybe there's a neat story there but the thirty second spot doesn't do it justice in my books. A complicated father-son relationship instantly repaired over a double-double? I can't believe that the son didn't know his dad was going to the games all those years. As if that never came up. Plus, the part where the dad goes "You must study harder, not just hockey all the time. Ming ming bah" comes across as pretty stereotypical. I'm crossing my fingers that there's a meaningful translation of what he says and not just some random Asian-sounding jabber...

That Tim Horton's commercial - after the Dad says "I watch you" and shows his son the picture, I wanted the son to go into a rage, yelling, "Do you know how many years I spent in therapy because I thought my dad didn't want to watch me play? Why the hell were you hiding?"

It roughly means "Understand?" or so I was told by a friend who speaks Chinese. I've been adding it to the end of all my Chinese curse phrases...

I like that McDonald's one where he ask's "Do single cheesburgers get lonely?" The other guy asks "You're single, are you lonely?"
The way he says "Yeah" kills me for some reason. It's hilarious
