Food to order for televised Flames games??
My brother and I have a tradition where we'll most often order some Pizza or Chinese Food and watch the game. We've been doing this for about 3 years now ... we are pretty tired of Pizza or Chinese Food.
Anyone have any good alternatives?
There generally isn't enough time to cook something before the games, and we really like to watch them at my place rather than going out.
I'm looking towards tomorrow, and I just cant look forward to the usual two choices.

I love East Indian food, lots of places deliver around town, but tend only only go so far away from their restaurant. But there's bound to be one close.

Why not just get a box of frozen wings, throw them in the oven and 20 minutes later you're good? Cheaper then take-out and warmer too!

Go to costco, buy some premade wings. Very good price, you get some franks red hot sauce - very very hot - then to to M&M meat shops and pick up some dip and mozza sticks and maybe some dessert.

If you live in the Southwest, there is an awesome little take-out Mexican restaurant called Mi Tierra in Oakridge. My dad and I always order from there for Flames games. We usually get the Entomontadas, which are delicious tacos with avocado and jalapenos.
If you are in the area, I totally recommend trying it at least once. The food is very flavorful, and it is good quality- comparable to Salt n' Pepper (My dad insists it's better, I think it's close). The prices are pretty reasonable too.
It really does beat ordering pizza for games!

Safeway has some pretty good stuff too. Get a loaf of garlic bread, some shredded cheese, pop in the oven for 15 minutes, good stuff.

Cool tradition. Agreed that you have a number of choices out there -- chicken, ribs, wings, donairs, pasta/lasagna, etc. Heck, you could even do subs (Subway or Vietnamese subs).
Also, I'm sure there are vietnamese restauarants in your area... definitely worth trying if you never have...
EDIT: Damn, beat me to it ^^^^

EDIT: Something like this: http://www.memphisbluesbbq.com/menu.asp except this place is in Vancouver.
From the menu:
Memphis feast Every meat plus all the fixins'. Perfect way to sample BBQ!!
39.95
"Every meat" includes: Ribs, sliced brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, smoked sausage

I'd get some stuff from M&M's. They've got a ton of variety of good food. I know you said you don't have time to cook before the game, but it's not really cooking, just heating it up in the oven.

If that is not cooking, then I have never cooked anything in my life.
