Possibly the worst pet ever.
It would:
- Jump on you when sleeping in the morning then stomp you to death with its powerful rear legs
- Still have the ability to scratch the hell out of you
- Run even faster
- Jump even higher
- Jump in the air, twirl and pee at the same time spraying everything to marks its territory
- Be able to leap at you from greater distances and maul you to death.
- Chew all electrical cords
- Demand loving then get pissy at you within a matter of a second.
Here I thought cats were evil... I think this one takes the cake.

This can't be real. I'm no geneticist, but something sounds right wonky here....

It seems odd to me that it would be evenly split front to back; cat / rabbit.
Thus I suspect it is a graft.....

What would be real funny is making it sound like a dog.
Its easy...toss a little gas on it...then a match...WOOF!

Are the number of chromosomes for each animal even the same?

There is no way this is actually a crossbread. The animals are in entirely different families. One is a carnivore and the other is a rodent.
This makes about as much sense as you being able to breed with a rabbit.

Nope...most cats have 19 pairs (although some have 18 pairs) for a total of 38, most rabbits apparently have 22 pairs, for 44 total. enough of a difference that this thing would probably never exist.

Deoxyribonucleic Acid, for example... sounds impressive, right? But have you ever seen what happens if you put something in acid? It dissolves! If we had all this acid in our cells, we'd all dissolve! So much for the Theory of Evolution, Check MATE!

If jackrabbits and antelopes can make jackalopes I don't see why this is so far fetched.
