Default Jupiter,Venus, The Moon, Oh My!

Anyone happen to see Juipter and Venus Saturday evening? Pretty hard to miss, but if you didn't, go out tonight and have a peek in the southwest sky around 5:45. One of those celestial events that happen every now then, that has wide appeal. If you do go out and have a peek, think hard about what you are looking at, and marvel for a bit how small we humans are in the big picture....

Monday evening the Moon will be right in the middle of the pair....Three of the most visible objects in the sky all in the same spot is pretty neat to see.

PS.. Venus will be the bright ball on the bottom, Jupiter will be the dimmer ball on the top. If you have a pair of binoculars, you should be able to see 4 of Jupiters moons to boot.
