Default Good 'technical' tour in Calgary?

If I were to arrange a tour for a group of 100 people that want to see something technical in Calgary (ie Boeing tour in Seattle, something in manufacturing, or technical in nature), is there anything like this?

It's a group coming to Calgary for WorldSkills 2009 for those that know what it is. The group is from a company that produces automation components.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm out of options

Which do you mean, anything in Calgary to arrange it or anything in Calgary you can tour?

I'm guessing the later, just making sure. Automation components eh? I would contact the robotics/automation instruction at SAIT. He'll be sure to know a few good leads for you. Or if you think they don't want to tour something they already know about... hmmmm... well, there's quite a few manufacturers in Calgary.

When I took MET at Sait, manufacturing tours were fairly common, so maybe even the instructors in that dept can help as well.

Contact ASET
http://www.aset.ab.ca/

They are Albertas Society of Engineering Techs and do this sort of thing regularly. Call and ask to be put in touch with a Chapter Chair in the region you are travelling to and they will help you.

Regards

There is a great tour of the working service well at SAIT available. I did it as part of a general 1 day course about how Well's work. The tour itself is kinda short though.

No tour would be complete without a short trip to the museum in Torrington!
