Crappy Player - Ilya Bryzgalov - Let in 10 goals on 38 attempts (0.737 SV%) - GAA 5.00. Pulled in both games after letting in 5 goals
Unsung Hero/Rookie- Jeff Schultz 70 OVR- averaged 15min of ice time in both games, 1a, and EVEN +/-. That's good considering 13 goals were scored on us in 2 games.

Still one game to go for the Panthers, game 45. But so far this week:

Owen Nolan (F): in 2 games he has 3G - 3A for 6 pts.
Edit: Add a goal and two assists in game 45 for 4G - 5A for 9 pts over the week. He was first star in all 3 games. He was +6 over this stretch, which makes no sense because in the second game he scored 2 goals in a 3-0 shut out yet was only +1 for the game???

Johan Holmqvist (G): in 2 games this week he has saved 47 out of 50 shots and has collected 1 SO. Edit - Add a 3-3 tie where he saved 17 of 20 shots.

Anton Volchenkov (D): in 2 games he has 2G - 3A for 5 pts. Edit - add a game with no points and 0 +/1.

Unsung Hero:
Mike York - Played 2 games: 2G 1A +3, 1GWG. Plus he did all of this in 16 minutes of icetime the entire week!! And for the record, Mike York has 13 points and is leading our team with a +10 in 18 games for the Ducks this year, the guy may be the next WDF Metro.

Rookie:
Dustin Boyd - 55OV, played 1 game, 1G +1, scored the only goal to get us a tie with the Devils

Jonathan Toews - 3GP, 1G and 1A but playing big minutes for us and not hurting the team.

Sabres went 3-0 this week, including some pretty convincing wins, but things were spread around quite a bit, no one guy standing out

The Capitals would like to Nominate Pavel Kubina for top Dman.

In 2 games he put up 1 G, 3 assists for 4 pts and was even with 7 PIMS and 9 hits.

Jochen Hecht is our nominee for Player of the Week. He had 2 goals against Vancouver, and added a goal and an assist vs. Florida.

Kimmo Timonen has been nominated by the Stars for Defenseman of the Week. He had 1 goal, 2 assists and was +3 in a 9-5 win at Vancouver. Against Florida he assisted on the game tying shorthanded goal.

Scott Hannan is the Stars nominee for Unsung Hero. He was -2 on the week. But he showed his toughness by playing 31 minutes against Florida after leaving the previous game after taking a shot to the ankle. He found enough energy to assist on the goal that made it 3-2 and then scored the game tying shorthanded goal.
