National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)

"National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30."

Has anyone ever participated in this before? Sounds like a fun, albeit involving, idea. Perhaps if we got enough CPers together, we could each write five pages and construct the greatest collaborative work of literary art ever.

Actually, I've always wanted to do this. I have no time (almost literally), but I think this would be really fun. Kind of an "exquisite corpse-as-novel"...

im sure that one could be summed up in 500 words or less.

Dude, you're behind already! You need to be writing about 1,750 a day, and it's already November 3rd!
